Very sorry to hear about the passing of your mom, Faith Petric who I was familiar with. I enjoyed your posting about your mom. My mom will be 90 in December and lives near me so I am her full time caregiver…it is a blessing. Please stop by and visit my blog some time.

Dear Carole – I wanted to express my sorrow at Faith’s passing. I just wrote a brief article for the Local 1000 newsletter about her life. Though I did not quote any of your blog, I read most of it – and was deeply moved. You are a really spectacular writer. One need not have known Faith at all to derive the richness present in your words. You have transcended one life experience and turned it into literature. Thank you! – Joe Jencks – AFM Local 1000.
